There are 8 support and administration staff. The diverse community consists of a wide range of lifestyles and economic backgrounds. Parents are committed to participating in their child’s education through our open door policy and are encouraged to be involved in all EOTC activities. The school is very well resourced with facilities which provide students with a high quality learning environment. Each classroom contains a Smartboard, along with computers and a transportable pod of 8 laptops. The school is fully networked with Broadband. Our school environment consists of 3 class room blocks and an administration area. The grounds are attractive and spacious with a food forest, tennis court, fields and an adventure playground. A shade house produces native tree seedlings for sale. The staff and community are proud of their school and the opportunities it provides for their students. Our school is located in an attractive rural setting 15km inland from Taipa, Doubtless Bay and 30km from Kaitaia. It is situated in the Oruru Valley. 99% of our students catch the bus to school. Hours of Responsibility: The school is responsible for supervision during school day only from 7.35am-3.10pm Monday to Friday. No supervision is available for children outside these hours.
