Starting on our Financial Literacy Project needed a fair amount of hands on involvement. Hands on involvement required working as a team, working out how a human chain needs to be organised, and a fair amount of hilarity. Screaming at spiders can be a very loud optional extra.
Financial Literacy for our students will involve preparing our Native Trees area for production, stocktaking, cataloging, market assessment, determining prices, surveys, advertising and marketing, handling money and understanding different types of transactions, record keeping, bookwork (accounts) on-going review and forward planning. Phew could be BUSY!
