On the 26th of June the year 4 to 7 were taught about where the Waka landed, who were their captains and what were their names.
We played fun games and sung karakias and learnt how how to navigate the stars.
For our graduation we went to Hector Busby’s at Te Aurere, we went on a Waka, made practiced making carvings in wood and they provided lunch for us.
As we finished early we visited Matthews Vintage museum and played on the old tractors and went for a train ride.
Great work Charli! Keep up the good work.
